About the event
From doing to being.
Winter can be a magical time of stillness, retreat and reorientation if we allow ourselves to be. We take time to consciously transition into “quiet time.” We begin the evening with a cup of cocoa, grounding and centering ourselves. Then we will slowly escort our bodies and minds from being active to being still. In doing so, we become willing to listen within: what is important right now? What wants to be seen, experienced, felt, healed? All this will be caught in the following soundbath, where you can regenerate and come to rest.
What can you expect?
- Cocoa Ceremony – guided meditation and journaling: with a cup of cocoa we ground ourselves and center ourselves in the heart. You come fully into yourself. You can read more about the cocoa ceremony here.
- Yoga – from gentle flow to restorative yoga: we start with movement and slowly become calmer. From doing to being. In restorative yoga, the body is allowed to come to rest. By staying in the positions for a long time with as little effort as possible, it has a particularly relaxing effect, so that your nervous system can also shut down. The parasympathetic nervous system is activated, stress and tension are reduced.
- Soundbath – sound journey: A bath in healing sounds: Crystal singing bowls, string instruments, chimes and other instruments lead you into deep relaxation. Harmonies and overtones have a beneficial effect on different areas of the (energy) body. While listening, thoughts automatically come to rest – self-healing powers and regeneration are activated.
