About the Workshop
Learn to celebrate yourself as a Woman..
By understanding why we have stopped celebrating being a woman!
For the last few millennia, hard work has been done to rob women of their power. Our bodies, our sexuality and desire, life choices like family or career have been and continue to be shamed and blamed.
Powerful, powerful, knowledgeable women were systematically persecuted and suppressed, important knowledge was lost or made available only to men as a result, and most importantly, the connection to being a holistic woman was lost.
Some feminist movements later, we are a bit further, have fought our way back many areas of life. Often, however, with the belief that we can only make it in a “men’s world” if we reject and suppress our femininity, everything associated with being a woman, if we become a man, so to speak.
I feel this time right now as a new feminist wave, very different from the one before. That supports women in their search for their femininity and especially their FEMALE POWER.
For me, female empowerment means reclaiming all the areas, qualities and forms that were collectively denied to us as women at some point. And it is for me a discarding of all that was imposed on us at some point.
Of social expectations and programming. Of ideals of beauty and role models. From hatred and criticism of our bodies. Of the people pleasing and good-girl archetype. Of boxes we didn’t build. Of shame that is not ours.
Finally being able to be a woman – according to our own rules. In all facets, colors and sizes. In all our wildness and imperfection.
Female Empowerment invites you to come together in a circle with women, to learn new things and thereby to understand many things better.
