About the training
Sound baths captivate us with their unusual instruments and soothing atmosphere. However, they are more than just a wellness trend.
Sound creates real, physical, measurable effects in both body and mind. As sound practitioners, we therefore carry a responsibility to use this tool with the appropriate background knowledge and to apply its effects safely.
Sound is often used in formats that are spiritually, energetically, or esoterically oriented. While such approaches may be exactly right for some practitioners and participants, they are highly individual and cannot be universally conveyed as effective. For this reason, we take a different approach.
We do learn how to use intuition when playing, how to connect with ourselves, and how to create a foundation for individual spirituality—but the clear focus lies on evidence-based mechanisms behind the effects of sound. In times of widespread uncertainty regarding the validity of information, facilitators of health and well-being should be able to clearly and critically explain how their tools work, what they truly can do—and what they may not be able to do, or not for everyone.
Building on this foundation, you will then be able to create your own format that reflects your personal style. While most people can easily pick up a mallet and produce a tone from a singing bowl, there is much more behind a sound bath. That is why we take a holistic perspective on the method, its mechanisms, and—most importantly—the system we aim to influence: the human being. This not only gives you confidence in your own facilitation, but your participants will feel the difference as well.
After completing the training, you will be able to safely design and facilitate your own sound offerings, select, play, and care for instruments, better understand your participants as complex systems, respond to their needs, and create a coherent, well-rounded experience by integrating additional tools for nervous system stimulation.

About Dr. Ricarda Silva Henao
As a PhD psychologist, fitness and relaxation trainer, and yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of training, I bring not only nearly 15 years of experience in adult education and teaching, but also the scientifically grounded, holistic knowledge that is so essential when working with people. My goal in this training is to share that knowledge in a playful and lasting way—so that it’s not only easy to understand, but also immediately applicable.
Well-being and health are not just my profession, they are my greatest passion. I am endlessly fascinated by our individual experiences and behaviors, and thanks to my empathy and sensitivity, I feel deeply connected to my clients. To ease suffering and create joy—whether through movement, attentive listening, opening up new perspectives, or simply offering an hour in which people can experience a deeply felt, loving sense of inner unity—is one of the most meaningful goals for me. And when it succeeds, it is one of the most beautiful feelings I know.
Over the course of nearly 15 years of teaching, I have not only accompanied countless individuals in my classes, but also learned what truly matters when it comes to creating a holistically safe space—one that stands out from the rest and allows people to leave with a deep sense of inner peace.
Music has accompanied me all my life. I was fortunate to grow up in a very musical family and was gifted with perfect pitch and an intuitive connection to music from an early age. For me, music and sound have always been both a form of expression and a tool for self-regulation. Since completing my 300-hour training in sound work, it has become one of my favorite tools to offer people a pause from doing—and invite them into pure being.
In this training, I bring together years of refined knowledge, my unique strengths and skills, and my heart’s true passions—offering you a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity. I truly cannot wait to take the first steps with you on your journey to becoming a holistic sound practitioner!
