More and more people feel the longing for peace and silence within us. Yoga Nidra is a path that can lead you there. Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, is a highly effective form of deep relaxation on a physical, spiritual and mental level. Yoga Nidra can reconnect you closer to your intuition, it has a deep regenerating effect and calms the nervous system and thus can also balance your hormonal system.
Yoga Nidra is a way back to yourself, all that you are looking for is inside you not outside where we often look. Yoga Nidra can connect you with your own wisdom, with what you need, what is good for you and where you want to go. Give yourself permission to rest, we may need it more than ever!
At the beginning of the class we prepare our bodies for Yoga Nidra with gentle movements and Yin Yoga postures. YN is practiced lying down, if that is uncomfortable for you we will find another comfortable position for you. In the first part you will be guided into a relaxed state, then a kind of body scan will follow where you will direct your attention to different points of your body, the further sequence will vary. It is a kind of guided meditation while lying down.
