Overview
About the event
This day retreat offers a range of gentle mindfulness meditation practices to help settle the body and calm the mind. An opportunity to get away from everyday busyness and press that
‘reset’ button for yourself.
The silent element of this day retreat will help you remain focused and anchored in the present – and in this way, offering you a good stretch of time to deepen your meditation practice.
A silent lunch will be shared with all participants. You are invited to bring some vegetarian food to share with the group.
The day offers a crafted blend of different mindfulness meditation practices including:
sitting meditation, body scan, mindful movement, walking meditation, journaling and reflections.
There will be an opportunity to share your experience with the group, towards the end of the retreat.
Due to the length and silent nature of the retreat, some prior meditation experience is recommended.
