Abou the training
A Sound Training that not only opens the world of sound to you but also provides essential, practical background knowledge about the human system as the receiving instrument.
Spend beautiful, nurturing hours in a small group of like-minded people and take away valuable insights for your everyday life and your relationship with yourself—insights that will benefit you for a lifetime. Take your teaching to the next level and learn how to guide others into deep relaxation, how to create and hold safe, unique spaces, and how to integrate not only sound but also other techniques into your classes that intentionally address and stimulate the human nervous system.
Sound baths, with their unusual instruments and soothing atmosphere, hold a special fascination for us. But they are more than just a wellness trend. Sound creates real, measurable physical effects in the body and mind. That’s why, as sound practitioners, we hold a responsibility to use this tool with appropriate knowledge and to deliver its effects safely.
Sound is often used in formats with spiritual, energetic, or esoteric emphasis. While these approaches may be just right for some practitioners and participants, they are also highly individual and cannot be conveyed as universally effective. That’s why we approach sound from a different angle. You will indeed learn how to use your intuition while playing and connect with yourself—but the focus lies clearly on the evidence-based mechanisms behind the effects of sound.
In times when there’s increasing uncertainty about the truth and validity of information, we as facilitators of health and well-being must be able to explain how our tools work, what they are truly capable of—and where their limits lie. Based on this knowledge, you’ll then be able to develop your own personal style.
Holding a mallet and producing a sound on a singing bowl is something most people can do without much difficulty. But a sound bath involves much more than that. That’s why we take a holistic perspective on the method, its mechanisms, and most importantly, the system we aim to influence—the human being.
This will not only give you confidence in leading your own sessions—your participants will feel the difference.
After this training, you’ll be able to design and guide your own sound offerings with confidence, choose, play, and care for instruments, understand your participants as complex systems, respond to them mindfully, and use additional tools to create a truly coherent, immersive experience.

About Dr. Ricarda Silva Henao
As a PhD psychologist, fitness and relaxation trainer, and yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of training, I bring not only nearly 15 years of experience in adult education and teaching, but also the scientifically grounded, holistic knowledge that is so essential when working with people. My goal in this training is to share that knowledge in a playful and lasting way—so that it’s not only easy to understand, but also immediately applicable.
Well-being and health are not just my profession, they are my greatest passion. I am endlessly fascinated by our individual experiences and behaviors, and thanks to my empathy and sensitivity, I feel deeply connected to my clients. To ease suffering and create joy—whether through movement, attentive listening, opening up new perspectives, or simply offering an hour in which people can experience a deeply felt, loving sense of inner unity—is one of the most meaningful goals for me. And when it succeeds, it is one of the most beautiful feelings I know.
Over the course of nearly 15 years of teaching, I have not only accompanied countless individuals in my classes, but also learned what truly matters when it comes to creating a holistically safe space—one that stands out from the rest and allows people to leave with a deep sense of inner peace.
Music has accompanied me all my life. I was fortunate to grow up in a very musical family and was gifted with perfect pitch and an intuitive connection to music from an early age. For me, music and sound have always been both a form of expression and a tool for self-regulation. Since completing my 300-hour training in sound work, it has become one of my favorite tools to offer people a pause from doing—and invite them into pure being.
In this training, I bring together years of refined knowledge, my unique strengths and skills, and my heart’s true passions—offering you a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity. I truly cannot wait to take the first steps with you on your journey to becoming a holistic sound practitioner!
