About the Foundation Course
If one or more statements apply to you, then this basic course is right for you.
- You’ve probably heard a lot about meditation and want to know what’s behind it?
- You have already tried meditation but “threw it away” because it didn’t work and you think it’s not for you.
- You have difficulty dealing with stressful situations and would like to change that.
- You can’t sit still and are constantly thinking about something. Meditation seems impossible to you, but somehow it excites you to learn it.
You have already been meditating regularly and find it hard to get back into your routine.
The foundation course is designed to make your introduction to meditation as easy as possible, to challenge you but not overwhelm you. The sessions are divided according to the 7 pillars of mindfulness meditation (according to Jon Kabat-Zinn – the founder of MindfulnessBasedStressReduction):
Non-judgment, Patience, The Beginner’s Mind, Trust, Non-Compulsion, Acceptance, Letting Go.
Content
The course includes:
- 7 guided sessions with me of 60 minutes each every Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am at RE:TREAT
- as homework: 10 minutes meditation and 5 days/week
a meditation diary where you write down and reflect on your experiences

Day of Silence with Giulia Tamiazzo (DE)

Sometimes you don’t have the time for a multi-day retreat and wish for a short time out in silence. Treat yourself to a day of retreat and immerse yourself in mindfulness meditation. Contents on this day, which we spend in silence, are meditation and mindfulness exercises from the Buddhist tradition in sitting, lying and walking in combination with Yin Yoga and Hatha Yoga.
