February is Meditation Challenge Month at RE:TREAT 🙂
This year’s topic is: Trust the Process.

This year we want to use the Meditation Challenge to address common challenges we all experience in meditation practice. We want to show you tips and alternatives to encourage you to stick with your meditation practice anyway, even if it’s not always easy. Often, as soon as something doesn’t go so ideally with meditation, we tend to give up the practice altogether and that is of course a great pity.

In the 3 weeks we address the following challenges:

Week 1: How do I deal with restlessness and worry?

Week 2: How do I deal with sleepiness?

Week 3: How do I deal with doubt?

These challenges are nothing new. Restlessness, sleepiness, and doubt are among the 5 hindrances Buddha has already spoken of. These are called pañca nīvaraṇāni in Buddhist meditation practice.
