About the Workshop
The 2 workshops focus on the lower and upper back.
In the two workshops you will get a toolbox to release acute tensions and you will learn ways to support your body sustainably. You’ll learn exercises for healthy posture through stability and flexibility. The classes are great as a regular back yoga program or to incorporate parts of it into your practice.
Lower back:
First we will do exercises that can help with back pain caused by tension or point overload in the lower back. The second part of the class is about stability of the pelvic region, strengthening of the legs and trunk muscles and mobility of the joints. The goal is to balance out a lot of sitting or one-sided postures and to strengthen the body in the long term.
Upper back:
Tension in the neck and shoulder area is often related to one-sided stress, for example due to a lot of sitting or certain movement and posture patterns. The class starts with gentle exercises to relieve acute tension. You will then learn to strengthen the core muscles, the structures around the shoulders, upper back and neck to support healthy posture.
